Their story…

When visiting Australia, we decided to climb the Sydney Harbor Bridge at twilight. Unbeknownst to Rachael (who due to a huge fear of heights was very nervous!), Nick decided it would be the perfect place to pop the question! So when we reached the very top, Nick got down on one knee and Rachael said yes!

We loved the Belsfield Hotel. The location, the decor, the team was exactly what we wanted and more. We knew The Belsfield would go above and beyond and you cannot get a better location than perching at the top of the hill overlooking Lake Windermere.

Apart from becoming husband and wife (obvs!), we are just simply looking forward to our day, with our family and friends and seeing all our personal touches and hard work pay off! We are doing lots of unusual things throughout the day (a ceremony singsong, magician, personalised drinks and much more!) and we can’t wait to turn these into ever-after memories.

Why did you decide to book Sam & how did you find him?

Because Sam is the best in the business! We know Sam through the wedding industry and having seen him in action, both as guests and co-workers at a wedding, he was our only choice for entertainment on our big day at the Belsfield Hotel.

I met Nick a few years ago when we worked at a wedding together. Nick is a skilled Photographer and so when he asked me to be a part of his & Rachael’s wedding, well it was a honour! The new look Laura Ashley Belsfield Hotel in Windermere is incredible and I can see why Nick & Rachael fell in love with it. Simpy stunning!
