Their story…

The proposal was Darran in his undies on a Sunday morning in bed! [Hilarious!] His words were.. “So are you going to marry me or not!?” We had been away for Valentines the week before, and I thought/hoped he would ask me then, but Darran doesn’t do predictable! On the following Saturday we went to Preston’s of Bolton to pick a diamond. He said it was being put away until he was ready to ask me. The following morning, in his pants, was when he did!

“His words were.. So are you going to marry me or not!”

Ashfield House which in our opinion is one of the best wedding locations in the North West! Katie Street [owner & head wedding co-ordinator] made us feel so special when we went to Ashfield House and has continued to do so! It’s also a venue Jonny Draper (our photographer) hasn’t photographed a wedding at yet and we know it’s a new venue for Sam too. Basically, it’s frickin’ awesome!

Why did you decide to book Sam & how did you find him?

We didn’t want a magician, we wanted the best magician!!! When we set out on our wedding journey I always knew that I wanted the biggest and best that we could afford. Along the way, it became apparent that you get what you pay for, and as soon as I saw Sam’s website I knew that we had to have him. I know that Ashfield House magician Sam is going to provide a magical extravaganza on the day, which is something our guests will talk about for years to come.

I wanted Sam, because from what we’ve seen he is bloody amazing! I found him through Facebook and Jonny Draper tagging him in some seriously amazing weddings!

Debbie & Darran are proper bobby dazzlers! From the minute we spoke on the phone I knew it was going to be a very special day. With a whole host of wedding supplier goodness, a beautiful Ashfield House, a cracking group of friends and family and a gorgeous couple to match it is now surprise their day was truly magical.

A massive congratulations to Debbie & Darran, I wish them both the very best for the future!
